The working schedule is set from Monday to Friday, with part-time hours available. It is important to note that the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis.

As of April 1, 2024, NHS Scotland will implement a reduction in the full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours, with no alteration in salary. This change will also apply to part-time staff on a pro-rata basis. While this new working pattern will be adopted across most service areas, some may require temporary adjustments, which could involve working an additional 30 minutes per week until the new schedules are fully integrated. This position presents an exciting opportunity for a motivated and personable individual to deliver Band 3 administrative support within our welcoming and skilled MSK Physiotherapy Service. The role will encompass support across the South Quadrant.

The ideal candidate will possess experience with essential Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with proficient IT and typing skills. Responsibilities will include operating independently in a public-facing reception environment, addressing patient and staff inquiries, processing referrals, managing waiting lists, and ensuring the efficient flow of patients. Additionally, there will be a need to assist managers in an office setting by creating and submitting reports and processing data. Strong communication and customer service abilities are crucial for success in this role.
