Job Summary

The Compliance Team Lead will be responsible for leading and driving the Kitchen & Air compliance field teams to ensure that all Kitchen & Air contracts assigned are delivered within agreed time scales and in line with required industry standards and specifications.

Main Responsibilities

  • Compliance Team Management
    • Direct line management of Compliance Supervisors, including management of HR-related tasks such as sickness, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
  • Project Management
    • Responsible for the day-to-day project management of larger contracts, ensuring timely completion and adherence to industry standards.
  • Technical Support
    • Provide technical support and guidance within all main compliance areas of work, including General Ventilation Cleaning & Surveys, Kitchen Extract Fire Safety Cleaning, and Site and staff audits.
  • Training and Development
    • Conduct site audits to assess field staff performance levels in line with company standards and industry specifications.
    • Provide 'on the job' training of new and existing supervisors and operatives, ensuring regular review and development plans are put in place where required to support and upskill.
  • Operational Efficiency
    • Identify on-site efficiencies and support the implementation of these to improve overall operational performance.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in managing compliance teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with field staff, sales teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Technical knowledge of compliance areas, including General Ventilation Cleaning & Surveys, Kitchen Extract Fire Safety Cleaning, and Site and staff audits.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
