About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Credit Risk team at Angove Partners. As a Trainee Trade Credit Account Handler/Broker, you will play a key role in assisting with operational aspects of the business and developing relationships with clients in the trade and commodities sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with administrative and operational tasks to ensure seamless business operations
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients to build trust and drive business growth
  • Identify opportunities for marketing and business development to expand our client base
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement insurance programs tailored to clients' needs
  • Take ownership of your work and drive your own success in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

About You:

  • You are a recent graduate with a strong drive for business and a willingness to learn and grow with our company
  • Previous internship experience in the insurance industry is a plus, but not essential
  • You have a passion for building a career in the insurance market, particularly in trade credit
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments
  • You are a self-starter who is not afraid to take initiative and use your own judgment to drive results

  • A competitive base salary of £25,000 with opportunities for OTE £35,000
  • A hybrid working arrangement after probation/training, allowing for a great work-life balance
