Pupillage Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Pupillage Coordinator to join our team at Membership Bespoke. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for coordinating the pupillage process, ensuring seamless communication with applicants, barristers, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collate and review pupillage applications
  • Create and manage timetables for the pupillage process
  • Allocate shortlisting and interview groups fairly
  • Distribute applications to shortlisting and interview panels
  • Communicate with applicants about their application status
  • Organize mini pupillage days and coordinate with barristers
  • Create and publish pupillage advertisements on the pupillage Gateway
  • Coordinate interviews and set pupillage interview schedules
  • Inform candidates of their outcome
  • Ensure all paperwork is submitted during the pupillage process
  • Keep the supervisor list up to date and arrange training
  • Provide diversity data to the pupillage committee
  • Ensure all forms are sent to the Bar Council and the Bar Standards Board
  • Organize monthly lunches and assist HR with training and other tasks

Requirements:

  • Effective people management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable liaising with barristers and KCs
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Highly computer literate with proficiency in email, MS Office, and related business tools
  • Fantastic organizational and time management skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • A team player who strives to help others
