Team Overview:

With a membership of 56 Barristers, including 17 KCs (Kings Counsel), the Chambers is supported by a dedicated team of Clerks and administrative staff, all committed to delivering outstanding client service. Position Summary:

The Chambers is in search of a Marketing and Pupillage Manager to enhance its dynamic and supportive team. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be eager to take on a significant role within a progressive and proactive professional setting. This position offers excellent flexibility in working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the evolution of the Chambers' brand identity, ensuring that its visual elements, tone, and messaging align with organizational goals.
  • Enhance the visibility of the Chambers and expand its influence through various channels, including social media platforms.
  • Regularly update and manage the Chambers' website, including news updates, announcements, and barrister profiles.
  • Assist in managing the Chambers' social media accounts, contributing to content and coordinating updates from the website.
  • Support the planning and execution of Chambers' events, including seminars and conferences, handling logistics such as invitations, invoicing, and venue coordination.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, such as Chambers and Partners and Legal 500.
  • Assist Barrister members with their individual marketing initiatives.
  • Support the administration of the pupillage application process.
  • Assist in the management of the mini-pupillage process.
  • Design and implement outreach programs targeting universities and relevant stakeholders, including law societies and careers officers.
  • Oversee the submission process for legal directories.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a degree and have relevant experience in marketing, branding, or event management within a legal or professional services context. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, along with a personable demeanor and the ability to work accurately under pressure. Familiarity with CRM systems is required, and experience with tools such as Squarespace, Adobe InDesign, Canva, and Photoshop, as well as legal directory submissions, is preferred but not mandatory.
