Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality services related to fetal medicine and the national pregnancy screening program for Down's Syndrome and Spina Bifida. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver day-to-day services related to fetal medicine and the national pregnancy screening program.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, guidelines, and best practices in fetal medicine and pregnancy screening.

Person Specification
  • Registered Midwife
  • Intravenous accreditation
  • Prep for Mentorship course or equivalent
  • Counselling skills
  • Ultrasound Qualification (desirable)
  • Counselling Qualification (desirable)
  • Management Qualification (desirable)
