Key Responsibilities- Deliver day-to-day services related to fetal medicine and the national pregnancy screening program for Down's Syndrome and Spina Bifida.
- Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and experience.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to fetal medicine and pregnancy screening.
- Registered Midwife with current registration with the NMC.
- Intravenous accreditation and experience in fetal medicine.
- Prep for Mentorship course or equivalent.
- Counselling skills and experience working with high-risk pregnancies.
- Ultrasound qualification and experience in fetal medicine.
- Management qualification and experience in leading a team.
- Experience working in a fetal medicine or pregnancy screening program.
- Knowledge of fetal medicine and procedures.
- Understanding of Saving Babies Lives care bundle 3 and its correlation to fetal medicine.
- Experience working with women who need support with infant feeding, particularly in pre-term and twin pregnancies.
