About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Deal Desk Operations Specialist to join our team at Aspen Technology. As a key member of our Sales Operations function, you will play a critical role in supporting our global sales teams and ensuring the smooth execution of our business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quote Management: Generate and manage quotes for software, maintenance renewals, and services-related orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Order Processing: Collaborate with Sales, Licensing, and Accounting teams to enter customer orders, manage the authorization and approvals process, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Licensing Administration: Support license administration by preparing required documentation, ensuring customer requirements are accurately reflected in license configuration details.
  • Document Handling and Coordination: Demonstrate understanding of documentation requirements for each process, ensure all documentation is secured in the appropriate systems, and provide various reports as needed.
Requirements
  • Strong Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with business partners, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team.
  • Organizational and Time Management: Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in commercial quotes, commercial/technical proposals, order preparation, and ERP systems, with intermediate knowledge of Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Sales Operations: Previous experience in sales operations, with a focus on quote management, order processing, and licensing administration.
  • Knowledge of Business Applications: Familiarity with back-office business applications such as Epicor, Oracle, and Salesforce.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English, with second language skills advantageous but not essential.
