Commercial Pricing Analyst

Contract Position - 12 Month Duration

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and customer-oriented analyst who can merge a systematic approach to problem-solving with the capability to enhance processes and reporting, all while adhering to essential internal and client-facing reporting timelines.

As a Commercial Pricing Analyst, you will be pivotal in refining our pricing strategy and maintaining market competitiveness while assisting our Pricing, Category, and Sector teams with analytical reporting.

The responsibilities of the Commercial Pricing Analyst include:

  • Grasping the pricing frameworks within our organization and delivering insightful reporting
  • Validating and reconciling pricing files to ensure precision
  • Comprehending available data sources and their interconnections
  • Maintaining and benchmarking pricing baskets to ensure competitiveness
  • Conducting impact assessments of pricing file changes across sectors
  • Reporting on volume metrics related to pricing files
  • Overseeing vendor pricing setup, maintenance, and adjustments
  • Monitoring and auditing personal outputs for accuracy and relevance
  • Providing proactive ad-hoc financial analyses to support business decisions
  • Building strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including procurement, commercial, and finance teams
  • Creating exception and dashboard reports on key pricing metrics and trends
  • Being present at business headquarters to assist operators as needed
