Senior Pricing Analyst

About the Role

A prominent global legal organization is in search of a Senior Pricing Analyst to join their dynamic team. With a substantial presence across the UK, Europe, US, and AsiaPac, this firm is renowned for its exceptional client service and innovative solutions. Due to ongoing expansion, they are looking for a talented individual with a graduate-level qualification in ACA/ACCA/CIMA to take on a pivotal role in pricing and financial collaboration, primarily supporting the global pricing strategies for Partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Finance Business Partner for Pricing & Analysis, facilitating the financial components of client pricing and fee arrangements while ensuring stakeholder engagement and providing commercial insights.
  • Oversee the financial management of client global fee arrangements.
  • Create tailored financial models to assist Pricing Managers, Finance Directors, and Marketing teams with pricing and financial considerations for fee proposals.
  • Conduct mid-term evaluations of existing commercial agreements, addressing any discrepancies between actual recoveries and those projected during fee negotiations.
  • Develop best practice reports and visualizations using Tableau, identifying pricing trends and disseminating insights throughout the global pricing network.
  • Offer both ad-hoc and scheduled pricing support to fee earners, including presentations that demonstrate the functionality of pricing tools and the pricing of active matters.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong financial expertise, supported by a numerate degree and/or qualifications as a certified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Experience in pricing within a service-oriented environment, with a preference for candidates from accounting, consulting, legal, or other professional services.
  • Proficient in financial modeling and data analysis.
  • High level of commercial insight to provide guidance and training to senior executives.
  • Proactive and innovative mindset, committed to enhancing pricing strategies and operations.
  • Self-motivated and highly driven.
  • Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization tools is advantageous.
