About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking pre-operative assessments of patients awaiting elective surgery across all specialties. This will involve ensuring that patients receive appropriate information and identifying potential discharge concerns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments of patients to identify potential risks and concerns
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to ensure patient safety and well-being
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote informed decision-making
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Current NMC registration
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Flexible and committed to maintaining and improving patient experience
  • Demonstrates a good working knowledge & compliance with Ramsay Policies and CQC Standards
  • A warm, considerate and empathetic character
