About the Role

**Dealership Accountant Opportunity**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dealership Accountant to join our team at Command Recruitment. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the accounts function, delivering timely and accurate management accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Monthly Management Accounts**: Provide detailed analysis and commentary, liaising with Divisional Finance Directors.
  • **Financial Analysis**: Collate and examine purchase and sales ledger information from the centralised accounting department.
  • **Team Leadership**: Supervise one or two Accounts staff and a Sales Administrator.
  • **Financial Planning**: Analytical support across the business, evaluating profit optimisation.
  • **Performance Monitoring**: Monitor performance measurement tools and techniques for projects.
  • **Capital and Project Appraisals**: Review of capital and project appraisals.
  • **Group Budgets and Forecasts**: Consolidation of group budgets and forecasts.
Requirements
  • **Strong Technical Skills**: Strong technical and analytical accounting skills.
  • **Leadership Skills**: Exceptional leadership skills with a good sense of humour.
  • **Industry Experience**: Proven track record within the motor industry.
  • **Accounting Package**: Previous Accountancy Experience within a Car Dealership and Kerridge, Pinnacle or a similar Accounting Package.
  • **Communication Skills**: Strong written and communication skills.
