SEMH Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Stoke. As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEMH needs
  • Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to create individualized strategies
  • Foster a positive learning environment through empathetic approach and strong relationships

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEMH needs
  • Knowledge of safeguarding practices within a primary school context
  • Ability to implement effective behavior management strategies

What We Offer:

  • Competitive PAYE rates of £85 to £90 per day
  • Weekly pay provided through school timesheets
  • Monday to Friday schedule
