Job Title: Challenging Behaviour Teaching Assistant

About the Role:

As a Challenging Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced teachers to support children with SEMH needs who demonstrate challenging behaviour. Your role will involve providing pastoral support, behaviour management, and emotional regulation strategies to help our pupils thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the classroom teacher to enable effective teaching and learning
  • Provide individualised support to pupils with SEMH needs
  • Develop and implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to plan and deliver lessons
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with SEMH needs
  • Strong behaviour management and emotional regulation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the teaching team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
