Work Schedule:

This position offers a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours based on business needs.

Flexibility in your working hours is essential, as shifts may include early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.

Compensation for this role begins at £11.44 per hour.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in executing both event day and non-event day human resources activities, ensuring a world-class experience for guests. Provide administrative support for the department, adhering to deadlines and company policies. Collaborate with the team on workforce planning and resource allocation for major events, ensuring the right personnel with appropriate skills are in place. Oversee the check-in process for event staff, ensuring proper placement and uniform compliance. Manage the staff experience from clock-in to clock-out, promoting a positive environment throughout. Ensure laundry services are managed effectively, maintaining adequate stock levels as per business requirements. Support recruitment and onboarding processes for casual workers, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires. Complete recruitment administration promptly to enhance the efficiency of the hiring process. Be proficient in company time and attendance systems, facilitating payroll processing and financial reporting. Maintain the variable database, ensuring staff roles and personal information are current. Assist in local payroll processing, following established protocols for reporting and managing absences. Adhere to agency partner management protocols, collaborating with the Head of People Operations as necessary. Address all inquiries through various channels, ensuring casual workforce members feel valued. Ensure compliance with legal requirements and maintain accurate records for audit purposes, focusing on health and safety, fire regulations, and employment law.

Candidate Profile:

Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and managers, addressing challenges constructively. Strong problem-solving skills, capable of making informed decisions in day-to-day operations. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion. Adaptable to the needs of others, considering the impact of actions on team dynamics. Exceptional communication and customer service skills. Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships within the team. Strong organizational skills, with a track record of meeting critical deadlines. Proficient in utilizing various platforms and systems to improve operational processes. A proactive individual with a commitment to excellence. Capable of working both independently and collaboratively. Experience in a fast-paced environment is essential.

A minimum of one year of experience in a similar role within a large casual workforce or recruitment agency is required.
