We are excited to introduce our new residential care facilities designed to offer safe, supportive, and stable placements for children who are temporarily unable to reside with their biological families.

In this role, the educator will play a pivotal part in our residential team, extending their influence beyond traditional teaching. • Encourage children's participation in educational discussions and support them in expressing their views.
  • Facilitate smooth educational transitions for children entering or leaving the home.
  • Keep accurate records of support activities and share relevant information with educational professionals.
  • Work autonomously within professional guidelines, adhering to safeguarding and health and safety policies.
  • Champion equality and diversity in all decisions and actions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Possession of a professional teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS) with relevant teaching experience.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development and expertise in the field.
  • A passion for working with children, particularly those with additional needs and disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships.
  • Understanding of PEP processes, SEND, and educational safeguarding.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and personalizing learning experiences.
