Shire Healthcare is seeking a skilled Counsellor to join our team in a specialist addictions service in the North East of England.

• Deliver group work and one-to-one sessions to service users with substance misuse issues.
• Support the running of the centre, including supervising volunteers and those on placement.
• Work in a residential setting, providing a safe and supportive environment for service users.

• Level 4 Diploma in Counselling or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience working with substance misuse and delivering the 12 steps programme.
• Ability to work in a residential setting and provide a high level of support to service users.
