Job Title: General Manager

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to join our team at Elior, a leading contract caterer in the UK. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for leading our team to deliver exceptional customer service and high-quality food experiences at our prestigious sports venues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of Heads of Departments to ensure proactive management of teams on site.
  • Accountable for recruiting, supporting, training, and people development to deliver an efficient, high-quality service to Elior, our customers, and clients.
  • Ensure that all aspects of the Elior experience are communicated and embedded within the team, supporting the Service Champion as appropriate.
  • Maintain, order, and control food stocks within budget.
  • Develop innovative menu planning and design of food service within specified budgets, ensuring high standards of food presentation and portion/quality control.
  • Create a platform for financial growth through cost control and culinary excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal regulations, environmental policies, and duty of care to customers and colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience of successfully managing a team.
  • Genuine interest in customer service excellence.
  • A strong team player, highly confident, and positive.
  • Self-motivated and innovative.
  • Previous experience within management, contract catering desirable.
