About the Role

Riviera Restaurants Luxury Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Sales and Events Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in driving business development and overseeing daily sales operations across our premium venues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the reservations team, providing ongoing training and mentorship to maximize performance. Set clear goals and objectives to boost sales potential.
  • Operations & Sales Coordination: Ensure seamless communication and collaboration between the operations and sales teams. Act on feedback from the front-of-house (FOH) staff, implementing improvements as needed.
  • Agency Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with new and existing agencies to generate high-quality leads. Manage commission structures to incentivize agencies and increase lead flow.
  • Sales & Event Management: Oversee day-to-day group reservations and event coordination, driving revenue growth through networking, partnerships, and sales platform optimization. Continuously seek new business opportunities through relationship building and use of sales platforms.
  • Sales Platform Management: Manage and optimize sales platforms to ensure they operate efficiently and effectively for the business.
  • Marketing & Collaboration: Work closely with the operations team to develop and roll out new offers and promotions. Collaborate with the social media manager and Director to develop marketing strategies for all venues. Assist in brainstorming sessions, contribute to menu development, and ensure new initiatives are communicated and implemented across all channels.
  • Menu & Sales Channel Updates: Keep all relevant sales channels and websites updated with the latest menus and promotional offerings.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in sales and marketing management.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in analyzing market data and making data-driven decisions.
  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
