About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales and Events Director to join our team at Momentum Hospitality Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our luxury hospitality team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through proactive sales efforts, managing high-profile events, and leveraging a strong network of clients to boost our brand's presence in the luxury market.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Proactive Sales Leadership
  • Drive Sales: Implement and lead proactive sales strategies aimed at increasing restaurant bookings, private dining, and event revenue.
  • Business Development: Actively seek out new business opportunities by leveraging existing client networks and identifying potential new markets. Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals, corporate clients, event planners, and influencers within the luxury dining scene.
  • Client Acquisition and Retention: Develop a pipeline of high-end clients, including celebrities, influencers, corporate executives, and other luxury clientele, ensuring long-term partnerships and loyalty.
Event Management
  • Conceptualize and Execute Events: Oversee the planning and delivery of exclusive events, private dinners, and high-profile gatherings at our restaurant venues. Work with the culinary team, mixologists, and designers to create unique, bespoke experiences for clients.
  • Event Sales: Proactively sell our event spaces to corporate clients, luxury brands, and private individuals for private functions, galas, brand launches, etc.
  • Luxury Event Standards: Ensure that all events meet our luxury brand standards, offering exceptional service, ambiance, and exclusivity.
Relationship Building and Networking
  • High-Profile Networking: Leverage a well-established network of contacts within the luxury sector (fashion, entertainment, corporate, and hospitality industries) to generate leads and drive business growth.
  • Collaborations and Partnerships: Build strategic alliances with luxury brands, hotels, and influencers to create unique collaborations and cross-promotional opportunities.
  • Client Management: Act as the key point of contact for high-profile clients, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional customer service at every touchpoint.
Sales Strategy and Reporting
  • Sales Targets: Establish and meet ambitious revenue targets for our private dining and events spaces. Monitor and report on sales performance, adjusting strategies to optimize outcomes.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and sales tools, including digital campaigns, social media, and luxury publications.
  • Competitor Analysis: Keep track of competitors and industry trends within the luxury dining and events sectors, ensuring we stay ahead in the market.
Operational Leadership
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a small team of sales executives and event planners, ensuring high productivity and alignment with our luxury ethos.
  • Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with premium event vendors, from florists to entertainment, ensuring that all external services meet our high standards expected by clientele.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for both sales initiatives and events, ensuring profitability and cost control.
Requirements
  • Proactive Sales Approach: Demonstrated success in proactive sales roles, with a strong emphasis on business development and client acquisition in a luxury setting.
  • Network in the Luxury Market: A well-established network of high-end clients, corporate connections, and industry professionals in the lifestyle, luxury, or hospitality sectors.
  • Event Planning Expertise: Proven experience in planning and executing high-end events, particularly in a restaurant or hospitality setting, ensuring flawless execution.
  • Luxury Experience: Deep understanding of the luxury market, including customer expectations, luxury branding, and service excellence.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation abilities for closing deals with clients, vendors, and partners.
  • Leadership: Experience managing teams, mentoring junior staff, and driving performance in a sales and events setting.
Qualifications
  • Experience in Sales & Business Development: 5+ years in sales roles within luxury hospitality, restaurants, or lifestyle brands.
  • Event Management: Extensive experience in coordinating high-end events, with an eye for detail and luxury service standards.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong Luxury Market Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the luxury market and its trends.
