We are currently looking for a **Director of Events Sales **to join our senior leadership team at Rosewood London. The **Director of Events Sales** is appointed to lead, train, coach and inspire the Events Sales team to ensure that Rosewood London is London’s leading venue for social and society events, corporate hospitality and high end group business.

**Key expectations of this role are**
- Responsible for all events from the time a contract becomes definite to execution; this includes all social, conference and group business that takes place at Rosewood London
- Reviewing all definite sales bookings and distribute them among the Events Sales managers in a timely manner.
- Ensuring Event Sales Managers are actively yielding group room blocks and utilising revenue management principles.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining rapport with clients, prior to, during and post event, exceeding their expectations and encouraging repeat business.
- Developing the annual business and marketing plan for the department in conjunction with the Director of Sales and Marketing.
- Establishing strategic action plans, with the Food & Beverage Team, to enhance the operation of the Events Department.

**Profile**
- To possess a thorough knowledge of planning and executing large scale of events in a luxury environment with bedroom bookings.
- To portrait a high degree of business acumen by continuously striving to maximise revenues.
- Understanding of the function of events sales management systems preferred (Salesforce/Delphi).
- The ability to work well under pressure whilst being able to effectively make independent decisions in the interest of the hotel and its clients.
- A thorough understanding of leading and developing people effectively.
