About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal - Channel Partnerships, EMEA to join our team at SimCorp A/S. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing our EMEA channel partner strategy, ensuring alignment with our company's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement Channel Partner Strategies: Collaborate with regional sales teams to identify key partnerships and drive revenue growth through existing partnerships.
  2. Cultivate and Maintain Relationships: Foster strong relationships with existing channel partners to optimize sales performance, pipeline generation, and expand our product market reach.
  3. Establish Global Commercial Policies: Assist in establishing global commercial policies for existing and new channel partners.
  4. Support Sales Intelligence and Metrics: Utilize sales intelligence and metrics to drive business growth and inform strategic decisions.
  5. Manage Revenue Generation: Oversee the revenue generation process from prospect to sale for strategic partners.
  6. Develop Joint Marketing Campaigns: Work closely with marketing teams to develop joint marketing campaigns and promotional activities with channel partners.
  7. Advise on Software and Index Products: Understand partners' needs and current workflow, and advise them on the relevant use of software, index products, and risk models.
  8. Liaise with Corporate Functions: Collaborate with product, legal, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of channel partner strategies.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a similar background.
  2. Experience: At least 8+ years of financial market experience, sales, and sales engineering.
  3. Sales Experience: Proven experience selling sophisticated financial software solutions into the buy-side or sell-side.
  4. Relationship Building: Ability to build strong relationships and lead critical client negotiations and relationships.
  5. Strategic Mindset: Ability to work effectively across organizational and functional boundaries and contribute to the strategic agenda of the company.
  6. International Experience: Previous experience with an international European parent entity and global sales organization.
  7. Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  8. Commercial Mindset: Strategic and commercial mindset paired with a positive attitude.
  9. Quantitative Skills: Very good quantitative and analytical skills.
  10. Equity and Fixed Income Concepts: Solid understanding of equity and fixed income concepts around modern portfolio theory; CFA designation is desirable.
