At ASD, we are seeking a highly skilled Sales Account Manager to join our team in Edinburgh. As a pioneer in the steel and metal industry, we are committed to delivering cost-efficient metal solutions and high-quality steel products to our customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and nurturing existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers in the multi-metal sector.
  • Proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities through lead generation and research.
  • Understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutions based on our range of products and services.
  • Handling incoming customer inquiries, providing price quotes, and processing orders promptly and accurately.
  • Collaborating closely with the external sales team to coordinate sales efforts and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscapes.
  • Utilizing our CRM system to maintain accurate and organized sales records and generate reports as needed.

Qualifications and skills required for this role include:

  • Previous experience in a similar sales role, preferably within the multi-metal sector.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries and build rapport.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills to successfully close deals.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and other sales software tools.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues across different departments.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
