About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to join our Energy and Water team in Glasgow or Edinburgh. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-profile projects in the energy and water sector, with a focus on hydroelectric and renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical design of civil structural elements, including hydraulic structures, dams, and water schemes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects from concept to completion
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and project teams
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in civil engineering and structural design

Requirements

  • MEng or MSc in Civil Engineering or related subject
  • Chartered Civil Engineer or Chartered Structural Engineer status
  • Proven experience in the technical design of civil structural elements, with a focus on energy and water projects
  • Proficiency in structural design software, including finite element analysis and 3D modeling
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
