At Air Products, we are investing in the production of clean hydrogen fuel for the mobility sector to decarbonize heavy-duty vehicles. Furthermore, the gases we produce and distribute are helping reduce food waste, are supplied to hospitals, and are used in many other markets.

For our Hersham office, we are currently looking for an ambitious Senior Civil/Structural Project Manager who will be required to:

  • The Senior Civil/Structural Project Manager shall hold an engineering degree in Civil Engineering and be a chartered engineer in either the Institution of Civil Engineers or the Institution of Structural Engineers.
  • Develop and implement foundation design strategies for a variety of structures, including dynamic equipment, building foundations, and piperack structures.
  • Assist in the preparation of project schedules by estimating the duration of various civil and structural tasks.
  • Utilize industry-wide software packages, such as STAAD-Pro, and international design standards, including AISC, IBC, ASCE, and Eurocodes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including colleagues, clients, and vendors.

Requirements:

  • An all-round flexible Civil and Structural Engineer willing to commit time and effort to achieve project requirements.
  • Able to work with different cultures around the world, particularly with offices in the US, India, and Shanghai.
  • Prepared to travel when required, both to site and other engineering offices globally.
  • Require good communication skills in both verbal and written English.
