About the Role
The NHS South East London Integrated Care Board is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Communications and Engagement to lead our communications and engagement function. This is a pivotal role that will play a critical part in shaping the future of healthcare in south east London.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive communications and engagement strategy that aligns with the ICB's goals and objectives.
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the communications and engagement team, ensuring that they have the skills and resources needed to deliver high-quality work.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including health and social care partners, local government, and the voluntary sector.
- Develop and implement effective stakeholder engagement plans that ensure the voices of local residents are heard and acted upon.
- Manage the production and distribution of high-quality communication materials, including reports, briefings, and social media content.
- Oversee the delivery of engagement activities, including events, publications, and digital content.
- Work closely with the ICB's leadership team to ensure that communications and engagement activities are aligned with the organization's overall strategy.
