Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Communications and Stakeholder Engagement to lead our external communications and stakeholder engagement efforts. As a key member of our Strategy and Development Directorate, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy that aligns with our business objectives and promotes our brand across the energy industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a communications strategy that effectively communicates our key messages to diverse stakeholders, including government ministers, trade bodies, industry, academia, media, and journalists.
  • Lead a team of communications professionals to deliver high-quality communications outputs, including press releases, media briefings, social media content, and stakeholder engagement materials.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, government officials, and industry leaders.
  • Develop and implement a stakeholder engagement plan that ensures effective communication and engagement with our stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage and stakeholder feedback to inform our communications strategy and ensure we are meeting our business objectives.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in external communications and stakeholder engagement, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality communications outputs and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading and managing a team of communications professionals, with a focus on developing and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and feedback to inform our communications strategy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.
