Job Title: Higher Learning Teaching Assistant

Job Type: Full-time

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £25, £27,906.12 Annually (Actual)Plus 5% R&R payment of £1,273 per annum additional payment.

About the Role

We are seeking a Higher Learning Teaching Assistant to join our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) department. The successful candidate will provide support to students with learning difficulties, including those who are wheelchair-bound and require assistance with daily living tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students with complex needs and be able to provide a calm and motivating environment. The role will involve providing support with feeding, ventilation, use of hoist, and support with toileting, as well as assisting with other daily living tasks.

We offer a positive and supportive work environment, with opportunities for career progression and training. The successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and obtain any other statutorily required clearance.
