About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant at Activate Learning, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of learning difficulties and/or disabilities and/or behavioural needs, including mental health and wellbeing needs.

Working closely with teachers and other support staff, you will help students develop life skills, independence, and employability skills. Some students may require personal and/or medical care, and you will receive training to support this.

  • Good communication skills and a cooperative working style with the ability to work as part of a team
  • A creative and innovative approach to motivating learners and delivering support
  • Good literacy, numeracy, and e-literacy skills, including using Office 365 and various IT packages
