Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker to join our team as a Team Manager in our Children's Services department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of Looked After Children and Care Proceedings cases, as well as providing support and guidance to other team members.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Case Management: Manage a caseload of Looked After Children and Care Proceedings cases, ensuring that the needs of the children and families are met.
  2. Child Protection: Work closely with other professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of children who are at risk of harm.
  3. Care Management: Provide support and guidance to families to help them care for their children and meet their needs.
  4. Court Work: Represent the interests of the local authority in court proceedings, ensuring that the needs of the children and families are represented.
  5. Liaison: Liaise with other professionals, including social workers, police officers, and healthcare professionals, to ensure that the needs of the children and families are met.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  1. A DipSW or equivalent qualification.
  2. Registration with the HCPC.
  3. A current DBS.
  4. A car driver's license.
