Job Title: Team Leader for Looked After Children

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking a highly skilled Team Leader to join their team in Enfield. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the needs of looked after children are met, and that they are safeguarded.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the needs of looked after children are met.
  • Safeguard looked after children.
  • Maintain quality and performance in social work services to looked after children.
  • Support strategic transformation, including New Ways of Working.
  • Develop and implement user participation strategies for looked after children.
  • Ensure children and young people are safeguarded, and team members adhere to child protection processes.
  • Provide day-to-day management of the team and its staff, ensuring casework is completed to a high standard.
  • Embed user participation and ensure service design and delivery is influenced by the Children in Care Council.
  • Ensure Care Plans for Looked After Children reflect multi-agency involvement and decision-making.
  • Drive timely permanency planning, ensuring arrangements for children are made under the most appropriate legal framework.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance systems to meet statutory and best practice requirements.
  • Implement financial management strategies to ensure services are delivered in a cost-effective manner.
