Lead a BRAND NEW Therapeutic Home for Children and Young People with EBD

Are you a passionate and driven leader looking for a new opportunity to set up and manage a therapeutic home for children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)?

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Childrens Home Registered Manager to lead our new therapeutic home in Enfield, providing high-quality care and support to young people aged 7-18.

As a Childrens Home Registered Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional leadership, direction, and management of the residential children's service, ensuring the highest levels of care and support for our young people.

You will have the autonomy to run the home as you see fit, with a genuine understanding of the importance of work-life balance, flexibility, and the general well-being of all employees.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and managerial skills, experience leading within a residential home for children and young people with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours, and a passion for delivering a holistic and integrated approach to care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and support to young people
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care and safety
  • Work closely with local authorities, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care and support
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure the effective delivery of services
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

Requirements:

  • NVQ or QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management (Children's Services)
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Services or equivalent
  • Experience working within a Deputy or Childrens Home Registered Manager's position
  • Experience in a residential children's home environment
  • Full UK driving licence
