Mortuary Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mortuary Technician to join our team at Belmont Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering a full range of mortuary activities and assisting pathologists with coronial post-mortem examinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for delivering a full range of mortuary activities, including high-risk cases when required.
- Assist in the administrative arrangements for the reception of bodies into the mortuary, the release for burial or cremation, and associated activities.
- Facilitate and organize formal viewings on behalf of HM Coroner, in accordance with local standard operating procedures.
- Implement and maintain effective controls and procedures to ensure that a robust system of record keeping is implemented, maintained, and relevant databases are reviewed regularly as to their sufficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
- Mortuary case work experience.
- RSPH Level 3 Diploma in Anatomical Pathology Technology.
