Community Engagement Coordinator

We are seeking a proactive and compassionate individual to join our team as a Community Engagement Coordinator. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys connecting with people and is able to engage with local churches and community groups.

As a Community Engagement Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Engaging with local churches by sending out regular newsletters and updates.
  • Visiting and presenting to the community and local churches to build relationships and promote our services.
  • Building relationships with local ministers, pastors, and vicars to foster partnerships and collaborations.
  • Organizing and facilitating special events and outings for our residents and their families.
  • Leading a team of volunteers to support our community engagement efforts.
  • Creating monthly activities and programs for our residents, including those with dementia and respite care.
  • Coordinating and facilitating activities for family members, ensuring they are stimulating and creative.
  • Engaging with the wider community by organizing community coffee mornings, summer fairs, and open days.
  • Additional duties as required to support the success of our community engagement efforts.

  • Knowledge of dementia care and support services.
