Community Engagement Coordinator

This role is perfect for a proactive and compassionate individual who enjoys connecting with older residents and is able to engage with local churches and community groups.

We appreciate that each resident has their own individual interests, hobbies, and pastimes, and we support our residents to maintain this important part of their lives. They are actively encouraged to lead the lifestyle that they choose.

Middlefield's House is a newly built care home built for 48 residents, including those who live with dementia and respite care. Our goal is to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for all residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Engaging with local churches by sending out regular newsletters and updates.
  • Visiting and presenting to the community and local churches to build relationships and promote our services.
  • Building relationships with local ministers, pastors, and vicars to foster partnerships and collaborations.
  • Organizing and facilitating special events and outings that cater to the interests and needs of our residents.
  • Leading a team of volunteers to support the delivery of our community engagement programs.
  • Creating monthly activities and events that are stimulating and creative for our residents.
  • Coordinating and facilitating activities for family members that are engaging and enjoyable.
  • Engaging with the wider community by organizing community coffee mornings, summer fairs, and open days.
  • Additional duties as required to support the smooth operation of our care home.
