We are seeking a proactive and compassionate individual to join our team as a Community Engagement Coordinator at Middlefield's House, a newly built care home in Chippenham. As a Community Engagement Coordinator, you will play a vital role in connecting with our older residents and engaging with local churches and community groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement community outreach programs to engage with local churches and community groups.
- Build relationships with local ministers, pastors, and vicars to promote our care home and services.
- Organize and facilitate special events and outings for residents and their families.
- Lead a team of volunteers to support community engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate and facilitate activities for residents, including monthly activities and creative pursuits.
- Engage with the wider community through community coffee mornings, Summer Fayres, and open days.
- Additional duties as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in community engagement and outreach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a full-time contract, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
