Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Royal Caribbean Group. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and service excellence across our fleet of ships.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement housekeeping strategies to deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain a seamless execution of premium service.
  2. Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure they meet performance expectations.
  3. Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and seamless delivery of services.
  4. Conduct regular inspections to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance are met.
  5. Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize housekeeping operations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years of progressive housekeeping management experience in an upscale hotel, resort, or cruise ship.
  • Preferred bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and safety procedures.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Working knowledge of financial aspects, budgeting, and cost containment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
