Infrastructure Project Manager

We are looking for a junior to mid-level project coordinator who will oversee the management of information technology initiatives at Millennium Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with systems and software engineering teams across the organization.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and workflows.
  • Monitor technology requests, ensuring a comprehensive log of updates and clear timelines for completion.
  • Manage expectations and maintain effective communication with technology teams.
  • Report on project status and potential risks to relevant management channels, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Ensure traceability of functional specifications to established requirements and objectives.
  • Work in tandem with technology teams, providing both product and project management support.

Essential Skills:

  • 3-5 years of relevant professional project management experience.
  • Experience in the financial services sector, particularly with technology-focused projects.
  • Strong analytical abilities, with a solid understanding of interpreting business needs and translating them into operational requirements.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to comprehend business workflows across various products and regions, as well as technology components, to identify and resolve issues.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently within tight deadlines.
  • Experience in specifying and drafting user specifications and business requirements for development teams.
  • Familiarity with development methodologies, including waterfall and agile, along with proficiency in tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
