Job Summary:

OCR Alpha, a leading quantitative hedge fund, is seeking a highly skilled Trade Support Specialist to join its Operations team. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in supporting the firm's trading activities and ensuring the smooth operation of its high-volume and fast-paced trading environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional support to the trading team, ensuring timely and accurate execution of trades
  • Collaborate with the operations team to maintain and improve trading processes and systems
  • Develop and implement automated solutions using SQL and VBA to streamline trading operations
  • Work closely with the risk management team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to the development of the firm's technology infrastructure, including the design and implementation of new systems and tools

Requirements:

  • Strong academic background in Economics, Maths, Physics, Finance, or a related field from a top University
  • Experience in the finance industry, preferably in a hedge fund, asset manager, investment bank, or brokerage
  • Basic skills in SQL and VBA, with a willingness to learn and develop expertise in these areas
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
