The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing comprehensive advice and support to employees on a wide range of HR matters, including employee relations, recruitment, and benefits administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, including absence management, long-term sickness, disciplinary procedures, grievances, performance management, and termination procedures.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Support all aspects of recruitment, including job postings, candidate sourcing, and interview coordination. Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees, including preparing necessary paperwork and providing a comprehensive induction program.
- Benefits Administration: Administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary, bonuses, and benefits packages. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- HR Metrics and Reporting: Generate reports on HR metrics, including turnover, headcount, and training participation. Provide data analysis and insights to support business decisions.
- Policy Development and Compliance: Assist in ensuring the company's HR policies and practices comply with legal regulations and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and regulations.
- CIPD or similar qualification.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and a desire to grow within the HR field.
- High proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
