Job Opportunity: Channel Manager

About UpStream Media Ltd:

We are a digital studio based in West London, specializing in YouTube and FAST channels. Our team is dedicated to providing content management, security, and monetization services to our clients.

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement audience development strategies to grow our YouTube channels across multiple brands.
  • Take ownership of assigned brands and utilize various strategies to maximize profitability and channel growth.
  • Create eye-catching thumbnail artwork to enhance our content's visual appeal.
  • Analyze analytics data to improve content performance and adapt quickly to platform changes.
  • Source, edit, and curate content from our extensive library to meet our clients' needs.
  • Repurpose existing content for different platforms to expand our brand presence.
  • Write engaging copy that aligns with SEO best practices and brand guidelines.
  • Research and apply Google keywords in content metadata to improve visibility.
  • Ensure timely weekly upload schedules are maintained.
  • Engage with our community, subscriber base, and moderate chat to foster a positive brand image.
  • Develop thematic video compilations and channel artwork to enhance our brand identity.
  • Stay up-to-date with trending topics and YouTube algorithms to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Mentor junior staff members to support their professional development.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in YouTube channel management.
  • Attention to detail with impeccable spelling and grammar.
  • Proficiency in image design software, such as Photoshop.
  • Experience with video editing software.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Interest in viral and social media trends.
  • Self-motivation with ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with different video formats, video compression, and sound/video synchronization is a plus.
