Senior Broker - US Energy Casualty

Daily Responsibilities
  • Analyze submissions
  • Lead quote broking and market engagement
  • Present terms to clients and networks
  • Execute firm order broking
  • Document broking activities in market sheets
  • Review draft and final MRCs
  • Confirm coverage with clients and networks
  • Provide benchmarking and placement guidance to clients
  • Conduct client meetings
  • Manage and establish a pipeline

Qualifications for Success
  • Approximately 10 years of market broking experience in the US and/or International Casualty Energy sectors
  • Preferred knowledge in all Up/Mid/Downstream sectors, including Utilities and Renewables
  • Strong understanding of London insurance market dynamics and essential processes
  • Proficiency in utilizing insurance industry IT systems for efficient client service delivery
  • Proven experience in managing effective client relationships
  • Ability to structure complex placement programs with a focus on optimal client outcomes
  • Good understanding of compliance and FCA regulations
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
