Aon is seeking a highly experienced Senior Broker to join our US Energy Casualty team in London. As a Senior Broker, you will be responsible for placing complex and sophisticated risks into the London market while supporting, mentoring, and coaching less-experienced broking colleagues to produce optimum client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review submissions and lead quote broking/follow market broking
  • Present terms to clients/networks
  • Record broking activity in market sheets
  • Review draft/final MRCs
  • Send cover confirmation to clients/networks
  • Provide benchmarking and placement advice to clients
  • Client meetings
  • Establish and manage pipeline

About the Team:

Our US Casualty team has an outstanding reputation in the market, providing exposure to some of the most recognizable companies in the world. With a global office network, we have an automatic constant account flow into London, offering a vibrant and magnetic team environment where communication is key, and opportunities are rife.

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of market broking experience within the US and/or International Casualty Energy marketplace
  • Knowledge of all Up/Mid/Downstream sectors, with Utilities and Renewables experience preferred
  • Sound understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes
  • Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service
  • Experience of managing effective client relationships
  • Ability to structure complex placement programs with the best client outcomes in mind
  • Good understanding of compliance and FCA regulation
  • Ability to work well independently, as well as part of a team
