Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate submissions
- Lead and manage quote broking and market broking
- Present terms to clients and networks
- Execute firm order broking via PPL and email
- Document broking activities in market sheets
- Review draft and final MRCs
- Send cover confirmations to clients and networks
- Provide benchmarking and placement guidance to clients
- Conduct client meetings
- Establish and oversee the pipeline

You will be part of a vibrant team where communication is paramount, and there are abundant opportunities for growth within both the US Energy Casualty team and the broader organization. This role includes opportunities for travel and interaction with Fortune 100 companies that rely on our broking expertise in a dynamic and innovative setting. We are continually seeking to innovate and expand our extensive product offerings.
Qualifications for Success
- Approximately 10 years of market broking experience in the US and/or International Casualty Energy sectors
- Preferred knowledge across Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream sectors, along with experience in Utilities and Renewables
- Strong understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes
- Proficient in utilizing insurance industry IT systems to deliver efficient client service
- Experience in managing effective client relationships
- Ability to structure complex placement programs with client outcomes as a priority
- Solid understanding of compliance and FCA regulations
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
