Senior Broker-US Energy Casualty

A dynamic opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Senior Broker to join our US Energy Casualty Team in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for placing complex and sophisticated risks into the London market while mentoring and coaching less-experienced colleagues to deliver exceptional client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze submission data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Lead quote broking and follow market broking activities to ensure timely and accurate placement of risks
  • Present terms to clients and network partners, providing clear and concise explanations of market dynamics and risk management strategies
  • Record broking activity in market sheets and review draft/final MRCs to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Establish and manage pipelines to drive business growth and client satisfaction
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of market broking experience within the US and/or International Casualty Energy marketplace
  • Knowledge of all Up/Mid/Downstream sectors, with a preference for Utilities and Renewables experience
  • Sound understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes
  • Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service
  • Experience of managing effective client relationships and structuring complex placement programmes
  • Good understanding of compliance and FCA regulation
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
