Job Description

Employers Agent Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Employers Agent to join our team at Hunter Dunning Ltd. As an Employers Agent, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of residential new build schemes in the Thames Valley region and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial and contractual performance of projects
  • Contract administration and management
  • Supporting commercial procurement and contractual strategies
  • Assisting with cost budgeting, appraisals, and reviews
  • Providing advice to clients on development plans and strategies
  • Value engineering and value management
  • Design reviews and project assessments
  • Implementing risk management processes and strategies
  • Advising on procurement strategies and tendering processes
  • Preparing and issuing tender documents and evaluating tender responses
  • Preparing contract recommendation reports and contract documents
  • Managing contractor interim payments and cost reports
  • Monitoring progress, conducting site visits, and managing handovers

Requirements:

  • RICS-accredited degree in Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
  • Consultancy background with experience in residential new build schemes
  • MRICS or working towards
