Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Proposal Specialist to join our team at Legal & General Resources Limited. As a key member of our proposal team, you will play a critical role in the coordination, creation, and delivery of responses to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), and other client-related requests across different asset classes and investment disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Response Content Coordination: Assist senior proposal specialists with the preparation and finalisation of responses for review using standard, pre-approved content.
  • Collaboration with Business Partners: Collaborate with business partners and subject matter experts on content during the drafting process.
  • Project Management: Adhere to project timelines, highlighting any challenges to stakeholders, including senior specialists, opportunity managers, and SMEs.
Database Content Management:
  • Proposal Document Review: Review and edit proposal documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity.
  • Tracking Performance: Track the performance of LGIM's proposals activity, with the aim of continuous improvement.
  • Document Management: Track all responses for receipt of appropriate approval and document stages.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of LGIM's products and solutions, while monitoring macroeconomic developments and industry trends.
  • Collaboration with Marketing Team: Partner with colleagues across the Marketing team to generate good client and business outcomes.
Qualifications:
  • Financial and Technical Writing Skills: Financial and technical writing skills, particularly any editorial skills preferred but non-essential.
  • Understanding of Proposals/RFPs: An understanding of Proposals/RFPs and the value they add in the business.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite: Proficient with MS Office Suite required and any other editing tools or content management systems (e.g. Qvidian) would be an additional benefit.
  • Project Management and Organisational Skills: Project Management and organisational skills or adaptability to work to timelines and manage workloads.
  • Investment Knowledge: Any investment knowledge of capital markets or institutional investment would be an added benefit.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Experience collaborating with stakeholders across disciplines (not necessarily in Investments/Finance).
