About the Role

Moris Media, a global PR and digital marketing powerhouse, is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Director to join our team and play a critical role in shaping the future of our exciting new brand, moCal. As a strategic partner to the CEO and senior leadership, you will craft and implement HR initiatives that fuel moCal's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic HR Leadership: Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to develop and execute HR strategies that align with moCal's specific goals and contribute to Moris Media's overall business objectives.
  2. Talent Acquisition & Management: Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle for moCal, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, career development, and succession planning.
  3. Building the moCal Dream Team: Design and implement effective recruitment strategies to identify and hire top talent across all moCal departments.
  4. Competitive Compensation & Benefits: Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits packages to attract, retain, and motivate moCal's workforce.
  5. Championing Employee Relations: Foster a positive and engaging work environment, address employee concerns proactively, and manage employee relations for moCal.
  6. Ensuring Compliance: Guarantee moCal adheres to all applicable labor laws and regulations.
  7. Mitigating HR Risks: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate HR-related risks specific to moCal, including employee relations, safety, and data privacy.
  8. Investing in Growth: Develop and implement training and development programs to equip moCal employees with the skills and knowledge they need to excel.
  9. HR Technology Champion: Oversee the implementation and utilization of HR information systems to streamline HR processes and data management for moCal.
  10. Data-Driven Decisions: Track HR metrics and report on key data to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives for moCal.
Requirements
  1. Strategic Visionary: Possess a blend of business acumen and strategic planning skills to translate moCal's goals into actionable HR strategies.
  2. Talent Acquisition Guru: Demonstrate a proven track record of success in recruitment, talent acquisition, performance management, and employee development.
  3. Employee Relations Maestro: Have experience handling complex employee relations matters, fostering a positive work environment, and effectively mediating conflicts.
  4. Compliance Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of employment law, regulations, and best practices to ensure moCal's compliance.
  5. Benefits & Compensation Pro: Possess expertise in designing and managing competitive benefits packages and compensation structures specifically for moCal.
  6. HR Tech Savvy: Be proficient in HR technology and have experience using HRIS to manage moCal's HR functions.
  7. Communication Powerhouse: Have strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey HR initiatives to leadership, employees, and external stakeholders.
  8. Business Acumen & Budget Management: Demonstrate the ability to understand the financial implications of HR decisions and manage an HR budget effectively for moCal.
  9. Data Analyst at Heart: Possess strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed HR decisions for moCal's benefit.
  10. Project Management Master: Be skilled in managing multiple projects effectively and meeting deadlines.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 3-7 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  3. Strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
  4. Proven track record of developing and implementing HR policies and programs.
  5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  6. Ability to build strong relationships with employees and senior management.
  7. Proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS).
  8. Strong analytical skills.
  9. Project management skills.
  10. Strategic thinking ability.
