Hearst UK is seeking a meticulous and creative Deputy Chief Sub-Editor to join our esteemed team within the Luxury Subbing Hub.
As one of two Deputy Chief Sub-Editors, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and captivating tone across our iconic luxury magazines: Elle, Elle Decoration, Esquire, and Harper's Bazaar.
Your Responsibilities:- Sub-edit compelling content for four distinct publications.
- Meticulously proofread and sign off on finalized pages.
- Collaborate closely with the Chief Sub-Editor to oversee the entire subbing and production process, ensuring seamless workflow and adherence to deadlines.
- Proven experience working on a consumer magazine title.
- Exceptional attention to detail and unwavering commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to effectively multitask, prioritize tasks, and solve problems proactively.
- Strong team player with initiative and a collaborative spirit.
