We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team at EdEx Education Recruitment. As a Mental Health Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting children with a wide range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a dynamic and inclusive school environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Support children with SEN in a 1:1 setting, providing individualized attention and care.
- Work closely with healthcare professionals, parents, and other members of staff to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Develop and implement workshops and group support sessions to promote emotional wellbeing and social skills.
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
**Requirements:**
- Experience working with children with SEN or mental health needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting students.
